Another resounding success! The band go from strength to strength. The audience get more and more appreciative. What a brilliant following The Motive have!

First band up were Of Kings & captains. OKAC have been gigging their tights off recently...good luck boys. The Motive took to the stage and once again re-arranged the audiences internal organs. A genuine pleasure to play! Finally, Butterfly Stone...a very technically accomplished band.

Friday night is Motive night! The band headlined at the Sunflower
Lounge in Birmingham. Up first was Tim Baker with some of his own punk/ acoustic songs-liked em! Second up, Stephen Turner & johnny. The Motive took the stage with one of their most hardcore audiences yet. The gig was a storming success. The band had been out of circulation for nearly a year due to heavy duty personal issues but were back on fine form! They delivered a searing set full of the past favourites but intermingled with some new tunes, in particular, I.C.U. A good time was had by all and the band went down a storm (thanks for the beers George, and thanks for the photo-shoot Mac!).

The second incarnation of a local band that welds the principles of contemporary guitar bands with those of fundamentalist punk rock. The original 3 piece band folded after nearly 2 years due to internal strife but was resurrected almost immediately following some spectacular chance encounters; fate indeed!
